Friday 15th December 2006: Wal-mart, Magic Kingdom & the Cinema
Today Beth and I went to Wal-mart about 0900 to open our bank accounts and we did a bit of shopping as well. In the afternoon we went to Magic Kingdom with Kirsty. We went thro
ugh all the Adventureland rides, which include Pirates of the Caribbean of course (again, sure a cool ride), Splash Mountain (got very wet but it was a good laugh), Aladdin’s Flying Carpets and the Swiss Family Robinsons Tree House.At 6pm we watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks (Wishes). It’s the second time I’ve seen them since I’ve been here but they are absolutely beautiful and could watch them everyday.
After we left the park we went to Jungle Jims for dinner, where they have bar stools which are giant elephants' feet, which is very cool and I had a very nice pasta dinner. Then we caught the bus from Crossroads back to The Commons, where Kirsty and Beth got off and went home.
I stay on the bus and met up with Lyndsay, Zoe, Carla, Rob and Celsey and we went to the cinema at Downtown Disney at watch The Holiday, which was a very good film and I did make me cry a little bit. I had a very good day and I got to spend it with a lot of my new friends and I managed to fit a lot into the day.
