Thursday 07th December 2006: Second Day of Paperwork
We all met at the Clubhouse at 9.15 for a banking presentation by Vista Credit Union (who our owned by Disney) to get us to join their bank but I wasn't that impressed (because they charge you for a lot of different things) so I going to sign up with the Suntrust bank at Wal-mart. The presentation finished at 1000 until 1300 so a group of us walked across to the Premium Outlets Mall to look around (very dangerous having a designer Outlet Mall right on your door step). Whilst we were there we had lunch and I had Chinese, which was chicken and rice and it was very nice (like the Chinese mum, me and Nicky had on holiday at the Florida Mall).
So the second meeting started with more forms to sign, information from immigration and we all sang Happy Birthday to a girl, in all our different languages (which was really cool as there was only 1 guy from somewhere in Africa and he sang all on his own, bless).
So we looked around some of the shops and took some photos with the figures and Rob and Celsey stood in the jumping water and got wet (which was very funny and stupid, hehe). Just after this Chris left us to meet up with Jo for dinner. In one shop they started playing the Las Ketchup song, so some of us starting doing the dance for a laugh (very cheesy I know) and one of the staff came over and wanted us to teach her the dance - so four of us started dancing in the middle of the shop (it was so funny, we made such fools of ourselves).
At about 5:30 we walked from Downtown Disney to Crossroads and went for Dinner at Red Lobster, as Celsey had been there before and loved there cheesy bread rolls and mozzarella sticks. So that’s what Celsey ordered and the rest of us had chicken and pasta, however Rob have the full side including a Caesar salad and Beth had the small size but with the Caesar salad and extra vegetables. However I did order chocolate cake and it was twice the size you would get at home and Kirsty dared me to finish it all, which I did but I felt very sick afterwards (it’s my own fault I know, you don’t have to tell me, hahaha).
We got a taxi back from Crossroads at 2000 and he charged us $20 and then when we arrived back at The Commons we realised that we were just around the corner not five minutes away and the taxi driver had ripped us off (that’s what you get for being new and not knowing where you are in relation to everything).
Thursday nights is when the cast members from mainly the UK and Canada go to Bennigans. So James came and got me at about 2200 and we went to his friend’s apartment for a while and then we got a taxi with everyone down there. I only had a couple of drinks as I was feeling very tried and there was only Chris and me from our arrival group there (which was sad, but I know how tried they were all feeling). So I left at about 0100 with a few other people and went to bed absolutely shattered, but I have a wonderful day.
